Dr. Alex Manrique was born in Borger, TX and raised in various regions in the United States, but spent most of his teenage years in Texas and graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2002. After high school, Dr. Manrique attained his Bachelors of Science as a Bio-Medical Science major from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. After graduation, he accepted an invitation to attend graduate school at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and graduated to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Manrique is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.

Dr. Manrique currently lives in Plano, TX with his wife, son, and dog. He is a huge electronics and technology nerd, and enjoys watching movies, football and soccer games.

Dr. Christin Vaello was raised in Benavides, Texas, a small town in South Texas. She attended Texas A&M University, where she received her bachelors of science in Biology. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. During her time in dental school she was a member of the American Student Dental Society and Xi Psi Phi professional dental fraternity.

Dr. Vaello is passionate about restorative and preventive dentistry and is very interested in establishing and maintaining quality relationships with her patients.

She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. In her free time Dr. Vaello enjoys traveling, reading and practicing yoga.

For over a decade, Dr. Garrett Nelson has been practicing oral surgery in the DFW area. Dentistry is in his family as he is a fourth-generation dentist. Dr. Nelson’s brother is an orthodontist in the Houston area and his father continues to practice dentistry at 72 years of age. Dr. Nelson is committed to the delivery of the best oral surgery treatment and experience possible.

Dr. Nelson’s clinical experience includes implant dentistry where he utilizes the very latest technology in planning and delivering the very best in clinical care.

Dr. Nelson studied dentistry at UCLA and studied medicine at Texas Tech. He is a native of Los Angeles but came to Texas to settle down as his new home. He completed his Oral Surgery training at Baylor in Dallas and continues to serve the oral surgery program as an Associate Clinical Professor for over ten years. Many of the current dentists throughout Dallas were once his students.

Dr. Nelson has four children and lives in Frisco where he enjoys golf, travel, snow skiing and serving his church and community. His newest hobby is running several half marathons a year with his wife, Rachel.

Dr. Khushbu Patel graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with Honors and the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston with multiple recognitions. She then pursued a residency in General Practice in Dentistry followed by Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Patel’s philosophy is to provide her patient with their best smile- which is not only aesthetically driven but also functionally long lasting. She believes in providing her patients with all possible options so they can make informed decisions.

Dr. Patel calls DFW her home. She enjoys spending her spare time with friends & family, traveling and training for half marathons.
